What the club says: Montgomery Course is the most senior of our two courses. This 6,508 yard, par 72 is generally acknowledged to be the more demanding of the two courses, with 19 strategically placed bunkers and a pond to make life a little more interesting! It has some challenging holes; not least the 443 yard par 4 18th and many a golfer has stood on the 18th tee thinking about The Montgomery Challenge Hall of Fame only to have their hopes dashed with the brutish 443 yards to a difficult green.

The Bruce Course or 'The Wild Child' of Kinross Golf Courses, is highly regarded and seen as a good test of golf. The par 73, at 6,231 yards contains stunning views of the nearby Loch Leven. While occasional golfers often find The Bruce more to their liking, scoring well is no given. And arrogant golfers beware: four early par-5s does not mean four "easy birdie holes", and those who think so often find their card in shreds embarrassingly early in the round. However, spot the optimum scoring opportunities on The Bruce and you just might outsmart this feisty course.

Two decent courses

Mature woodland defines most holes, but it's pretty open off the tee. Can get quite wet underfoot.

I have played The Bruce twice now and enjoyed both visits. The course is kept in good condition and the fairways are wide enough to accommodate all abilities of player! The clubhouse offers a friendly welcome and good quality catering, it is well worth a visit.

Well maintained course there are two courses here and the Montgomery is the more challenging one which my card is for. Even tho the other course the Bruce is slightly easier it also a fantastic course. The club house is staffed with polite and friendly people. The golf shop has everything you require. Recommend both these courses to everyone

A nice course layout on The Bruce. Greens a bit patchy, maybe down to weather in previous weeks. Slightly lopsided in scoring with 39 out and 34 back. Good challenge though.

Good day at Kinross's open day, can't argue with a round of golf and a 2 course meal, as a former member if it wasn't for having to pay the joining fee again I would be renewing straight away
