Lovely Course
Played this for the first time and thought it was great. At 6100 yards not short, mainly tree lined with some very interesting features. Certainly makes you think and long hitters who might sometimes go a bit awry might think about going with irons. Many of the greens surrounded by bunkers which will test your chip shots and ability to keep them on the greens. One bugbear was some of the bunkers did not have the best sand in them not helped by the downpour we had. That wont stop me going back.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 98 Handicap: 18)

Fantastic summer course, well worth a visit.
Another great find on golf empire, 40+ mile trip to play the Autumn men's open, £16 PP absolute bargain. greens in super condition and slick but a good shot would hold up nicely. After the week's rain ideally placing would have been a nice option, as plenty of mud balls.Course layout excellent, it never got boring :-) a very friendly club and very friendly welcome by the captain.
Food was excellent and coffee £1.30 just what it should be :-) not over the top.
Practice area miles away from the club, down tp the left of the 11th but you can drive there, absolutely massive area with driver no issue, at the top is a chipping green and bunkers.
Back again in 2018 for sure, very well run day and course worth the effort for.

Looking Superb
Course looks as good as I can remember seeing it. Teeing grounds and fairways are pretty much immaculate, some run off areas aroundthe green need a bit of tlc as do a couple of bunkers. Greens are pure,
fast and keep you on your toes. Would definitely recommend.
