Ver pleasant course
Course is situated in what feels like the heart of Leicester countryside. I approached from the south (from Kilworth direction) and it is nothing but fields, horse riders and milk lorries. so set up a real feeling of being off the beaten track! The course is totally flat, and most fairways are tree lined forcing you to be straight. Fairly featureless course but some really good holes like the tight dog leg 5th was a really good hole. There are a few 300 yard par 4's which are really good and pretty tough!
The best feature of the course is the greens which are immaculate and run so true. Some of the best i can recall (as good as Enville!). But most are very flat, however the greens on 12 has a sever slope and the undulations on 16 are marvellous.
Overall it is a nice course and not overly challenging. My playing partner is a memeber and often plays as a warm up before playing a match!
Pace was quite slow at times but not that bad (4 hours for a 4 ball) as there was a comp on.
Friendly clubhouse staff.

Greens were superb. Flat course and a bit boring but still worth a visit.

great days golf
we were all very impressed with the course ,it is quite unusual, varied and most interesting.considering the drought in good condition too.
it would however be remiss of me not to mention the bar staff who were all lovely ,i think most golf courses and businesses in general underestimate the positive impression that could staff give.
thank you all once again ,cant wait to come back !

Playing great
Considering no rain for past couple of weeks the greens hold very well, the fairways true, and although a different game with no green to cushion fairway shot , the course played very well and true.Greensite Bunkers need attention though

Unfriendly, elitist, out of touch
Berated by the club secretary prior to our fourball at the weekend for the crime of having the 'wrong' shorts on. Grown men spoken to like naughty school boys, took the shine of our round. This type of elitist snobbery is what turns people off golf. We won't be back again.Reviewer Rating
