Met with a warming welcome from the pro, huge selection of over priced second hand equipment, however a very good selection of new sale priced ping clothing. G30 equipment takes up a large area of the shop inspite of many average reviews of the clubs.
Could not get anything to eat once our round had finished at 1705! Course very wet and in poor condition. Greens slow and bumpy. Fairways long. Boggy under foot. Full priced green fee well over priced at half the cost

Would like to play when in best condition

You could argue to or 3 holes shouldn't have been in play but fair do's a discount was given when they needn't have. However the scorecard looks bad but so many shots were lost as a result of fatting it out of a good lie as result of the very wet fairways I'd happily have walked off after 9 if it wasn't for the comp. The real saving grace of the day is the beauty of the course and given the quality of the hospitality, overall facilities it wouldn't take much to get me back there and just hope the course was dry and was on my game.

Another typical hotel/corporate affair. Nothing spectacular but every now and again you want to play a few holes over water for a buzz! Off the beaten track but we took this course in on the way back from Skegness if that helps.

A first visit to Kenwick Park GC and a very enjoyable one to. The course is a great test with a good mix of holes from short par 5's and long par 3's to everything inbetween. The holes offer a good test from the tee with some wide open fairways to other tight tree lined ones. I also enjoy a course where you have to use a variety of clubs from the tee and plot your way. The greens were quick after the hot spell and putting on some of the slopes was not for the faint hearted. A course that I would happily return to says a lot about how enjoyable the place is.

Very well maintained course, fairway and greens in excellent conditions. Some blind holes (7th and 16th) that suits a fader. The 10th hole only needs a 200 yd drive straight, in damp conditions, but be careful in dry conditions due to the strategically placed water. You need to be a good straight driver on this course to have a good second into the greens. Narrow tree lined fairways. Course guide very good but needs updating. Disappointed with mats on a couple of holes and tree felling closed holes 4,5 and 8, which was only supposed to be earlier in the week.

Well thought out inland course

Played Kenwick Park for the first time yesterday. At the top end of hotel golf. A real mix of more open and tighter holes, with contrasting front and back nines. Very much more than playing the same hole in a different direction. Water used well to force players into decisions, but not so intrusive as to render certain shots hit and hope.

Very good course in good condition. You need to know the distances to water hazards crossing the fairways on several holes to keep your score low.
Greens fast but a little hard so difficult to get near the pin, this would not be a problem in early spring or late autumn.
Club house stands well back from the course.
