Worth A Game
Played here March , 2020.We were looking for somewhere to play not too far off the M5 on the way back from Torquay & found this which was down a remote country lane.
Upon arrival & the first few holes it seemed a bit uninspiring but then things picked up & overall we enjoyed it.
The front 9 is more compact , fairly straightforward , shorter & quite playable with some enjoyable shortish par 4's & three par 3's.
The back 9 is more of a walk & almost 600 yards longer with , unusually ,three consecutive par fives .It also has a few holes with spectacular views which comes out of the blue & unexpectedly after the front 9 terrain.
Although the back 9 has the views i probably enjoyed the front 9 holes more .
There isn't much in the way of fairway bunkering & the greenside bunkers have been well positioned .
The course seems to drain quite well as all greens were in use when other places i had phoned weren't.
I didn't find the pro shop particularly enthusiastic or welcoming on either phone or arrival .
Overall i thought this was a reasonably decent course that was a good finish to our mini golf trip.

fantastic course,
this is a fantastic course, fairways are very well manicured, the greens run true and fast.playing again next week.

Brilliant course in great condition
Great little course with fantastic views over somerset.Course was in fantastic condition with very friendly staff in the pro shop and behind the bar.

excellent course in good condition
Despite very full car park and slow pace front nine course was in excellent condition and we moved apace from 10th onwards.(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 103 Handicap: 27.1)

A great course in spanking condition
Wedmore is always a delight to play. The course is in outstanding condition and the greens are fast and demanding. Views are spectacular as ever. The first cut rough is extremely challenging. Tough to find your ball and hard work to get out from; brilliant!!Always a friendly welcome; I?ll be back.

Wedmore is a decent course with some great
views. I paid ?20 twighlight rate and to be
honest wouldn't want to pay much more
