Great course with many varied holes. Course in good condition, a lot of work has been done to help with drainage. Greens very fast but a little bumpy in places, still sorting themselves out after dining etc. We were a 3 ball behind a club match 4 ball and the pace of play was slow, waiting on every hole. The members didn't seem to know where to place their trolleys to keep up with pace of play and were also slow teeing off and putting out. Food offering could have been better, especially for gluten free. Green fees excellent for quality of course.

As ever good in parts
Stratford Park was in good condition for mid April. Considerable work has done to improve the drainage, trees have been cleared and the grass in the rough was short. A fun round drives and chips in order shame about the shots iinbetween.Reviewer Rating

Fairways and Greens in really good condition for the time of the year. The only issue was numerous leaves but these were in the process of starting to be cleared by ground staff.

Great course with a good variety of holes. Greens in extremely good condition and very fast. Leaves on the ground were a bit irritating but expected this time of year. Lot of work done to improve drainage on many holes which is nice to see but a little bit more sand in a few bunkers would be good but overall course is great.

Challenging Course
A good test of golf and fitness. Shame that bar not open to players at 6.00 pm, residents only(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 93 Handicap: 18.9)

Course in great shape, greens in excellent condition and running fast. Pace of play could have been quicker, we played as a 4 ball but were constantly waiting for a 3 ball in front. Cost great considering a lot of courses have upped their prices. Like the variety of holes and bunkers always provide a test of ball placement on the fairways. Will always come and play again.

Challenging course but worth visiting
The course has quite a few uphill and downhill holes which gives you a pretty good workout. Its a course where you have to be accurate off the tee or else you could find it impacting your final score. I have played this course quite a few times and happy with the overall condition of the course and price of a round (approx. ?30 on a weekend). Note that just because you reach a hole in regulation, it doesn't mean you walk away with a par as some holes can have tricky undulating greens. The greens are in pretty good shape and they tend to be consistent in terms of pace.Reviewer Rating
