Sadly the council have plans to alter the course and unfortunately it will be ruined and not a viable course for any serious golfer. My views are based as at January 201.

Because of Health & Safety issues several of the holes are now considerably shorter making it very poor value for the cost of the Green Fees.

The course itself is OK, but the greens are lacking a bit of attention. That said, £5 for 9 holes after 630pm isn't bad!

Tee'd off at first light, so unfair to complain about conditions of greens as the staff had not started work. Its November, so there are leaves on the green and its wet.
But nice enough course.

Local Council run course that uses the local coffee shop as a club house.
Only a nine hole course that you must dodge the ducks on.
Great course for the beginner though.
