Ever improving layout & good test
New pro Anthony very friendly, course is in great condition with firm greens and no footprints to be found. (most around are soft after bad winter)Black tee's real test and tree's have shot up in the 20 years since I was a member, love the place
Hosting the LRGU spring open 28th April 2018 #36 holes

Great Course
Very good course - a good challenge for any golfer.greens were in very good condition for the time of year

I played Hinckley last weekend in the spring open.
Pre round, the facilities are great, an area where you can chip and pitch up to about 50 yards to a double green. Nets to hit full shots and a decent size putting green.
Course is a really nice walk with some great scenery and some picturesque holes.
Unfortunately, the greens were not great, they were very fast but bobbley so it was a lottery if you made it or not, and if you missed it would run on a long way which made it difficult to be committed to a line and pace.
Bar and clubhouse are good.
Overall, as we played in a comp it was an OK price but I wouldn't go back to play it if it was at the full green fee.

Course is ok has some lovely holes with the water but other then that a bit poor, course was in ok condition but wet. played well enough and clubhouse nice.

Lovely course, fast greens.....best holes feature some great water hazards like 4, 10, 11 and 12 and 16 are standouts. love this course(Round played: Apr 2016 - Score: 92 Handicap: 17.4)

Good course in good condition for the time of year. Some tricky holes with lots of dog legs. ewards good golf but lots of trees will punish wayward drives.

What a fantastic course. As you head down the 1st you get a nice glimsp of what awaits, well manicured fairways, greens and unusual blue lakes. it is really nice. there are some really standout holes. the 11 and 12 are the best with the sunken hole on the 11th leading back up to a raised par 3 green on 12th made all the more special by the lake with fountain. The holes with water really stand out (4th par 5;10th 16th). It is a lovely course and the 18th is a real tough 212 yard par 3 which is tough tough tough. So looking forward to returning here...there are some lovely views over Leicestershire to boot. A MUST play. (Round played: May 2015 - Score: 91 Handicap: 19.1)
