Great course worth a visit
A little hilly, hence great views over the South Downs, Worthing / Brighton and the sea. Varied layout with tricky par 3?s and relatively long par 4?s.Nice welcoming club feel... and not so expensive for the south coast.

Doing their best in wet weather
Two temporary greens and six temporary tee boxes. Greens very fluffy and fairways on the long side, but given the recent weather, the greenkeepers have done a grand job to keep the course open. Always friendly staff and overall well worth the 18 quid for the later tee time.One negative point: give all golfers a pitch mark repairer for free in weather like this. I repaired at least two, if not three marks on every green and few were mine! Bad manners by some players, but the course could save a fortune later by giving the tools for free.

Good course

Played a society day here, we all enjoyed our day. Great value and great food. We were all looked after. The course has had some very big changes over the past few years.

Lovely course, but greens are always very difficult to read due to hidden undulations. Very hilly as the name suggests but great views all over the south coast, well worth it once you get to the 15th green!

Played here yesterday course in great condition, weather even better! Had full English breakfast prior to teeing off which was amazing. Four of us got round in 3 1/2 hours. Great views over the channel.

A very nice course in the Sussex downs good views over the sea a well maintained course some bunkers need more sand and attention but they are making improvements all the time. Friendly staff.

Great Day
Our society played here yesterday 6th December. We were welcomed by very friendly staff.\There were 21 of us and we started with a full English Breakfast and coffee which was delicious.\We T\'eed of at 09.40. The weather was great for December light wind blue sky. Considering the amount of rain we had had recently the course condition was excellent.
