The mostly poorly kept course I have ever played! The greens wouldn't even pass for fairways at most municipal courses. Bunkers are totally inconsinstent. I would be embarassed to ask people to pay a green fee if I owned it.

not in the best condition with loads of wasps nesting in the bunkers and no notice at the clubhouse to let people know . when i went in at the end of the round to tell them , they had no idea they were there .. just hope no one gets stung

Doing their best in wet weather
Two temporary greens and six temporary tee boxes. Greens very fluffy and fairways on the long side, but given the recent weather, the greenkeepers have done a grand job to keep the course open. Always friendly staff and overall well worth the 18 quid for the later tee time.One negative point: give all golfers a pitch mark repairer for free in weather like this. I repaired at least two, if not three marks on every green and few were mine! Bad manners by some players, but the course could save a fortune later by giving the tools for free.

A few problems with course, the heavy rough is more than knee high, the semi rough is quite "rough" so it is definite to lose a ball in the deep rough and quite easy to lose it in the semi rough. The bunkers all need sand in them to enable bunker shots to be played properly. Greens are difficult to read until you are accustomed to them otherwise, is a well looked after course and green fees are reasonable compared to others in the locale. The later in the day you play, the less you pay.

It's a great place for all standards. Give it a go. Did have one member behind moaning about slow play but when I drove the 300 yard 4th he went away
