Brilliant in summer
At this time of year, Hever is as near perfect English golf as you can get - greens and fairways in great condition - they would get another star if only they would let us play the championship course and not just the PrincesReviewer Rating

Pretty back 9
Pretty challenging course, with some interesting holes. The back 9 was more intriguing with a lot more water in play. Recommend.Reviewer Rating

Well looked after course albeit wet at this time of year
Great course in really good condition and clearly well looked after. It was wet underfoot as quite low and near to water but that is to be expected given its geography and time of year. Pretty area too with all the buildings being very dramatic. Certainly will play again later in the year.(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 115 Handicap: 21.4)

poor for the cost paid
Not in great condition, fairways poor, 75% were uncut.Greens were only reasonable which when you consider this round of golf cost £50.00 was not good.
local pay and play courses have better greens with only half the costs

Excellent course to play
An absolutely lovely course to play and highly recommend playing it, only down side is the price. All courses are dry at the moment and Hever was just as dry as any other, so I think the ?50 fee to play should be less as the ground conditions are not great.Reviewer Rating

steeped in history
Fantastic setting next to Hever Castle. I played the championship course which is great! the only thing it lacks is imagination! don't get me wrong there are some beautiful and challenging holes, but all the par 4,s you need to hit driver, I never had to think what club shall I use to avoid a hazard, just smash it off the tee with the big dog. There is also a 9 hole course which looks good
