Excellent views, an absolute bargain if you are staying at HPB, very friendly, well worth a round.

I played this course twice whilst spending a holiday in Anglesey. The course was in excellent condition and offers great vies of Snowdonia across the Menai Strait. Some may find the course a little easy. I counted only 23 bunkers on the course and most of the Par 4 holes were less than 320 yards in length. There is no course guide to purchase and navigation could be improved on the course. Nevertheless, it is great value for money and a decent challenge for medium and high handicap golfers.

Some fun holes
Enjoyable challenge. Very few holes for the driver, I counted a maximum of 6 where I wouldn't run out of room or risk wasn't worth reward. Lots of proper dog legs. Course was very waterlogged due to heavy rain the week before unfortunately but greens held up ok. Plugged balls in fairways got tiresome though. I'd play here again in hope of drier conditions.Reviewer Rating

Strange little course, very up and down so take your trolley or hire a buggy! Lots of short par 4's so if you hit long you'll easily drive the greens or have an excellent chance for birdies.

Very nicely kept course. Being part of the HPB members get some very good prices. £35.00 for unlimited golf all week. Played the course everyday rain or shine and loved every second of it. 4th and 5th holes can be troublesome as they are up the hill and the wind can very strong up there, 5th hole is drivable with a 5 iron wind behind! Club house is very friendly and the food is very good and well priced. Will be back next year!

Great value when played as part of the Anglesey Golf Pass. The only problem when we played was the course was very wet. The location is stunning. If you arte out of shape this could be hard work with a few hills of note.

Fabulous Course
Enjoyable course to play golf there. We plays there every year for the last 15 years - their hospitality with us are brilliant because they used our disability being deaf. They know how to communicate with us by email to book the venue. We will be back there next year.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course.
Played Henllys yesterday with my hubby, lovely course very well maintained. Greens were quite challenging, good condition but very easy to over shoot and trouble behind a lot of them. Beautiful views over the Menai Straight and Snowdonia. Only down side to our visit was no food available on arrival or after the game, this was a first for us having never failed to have a bacon bap before we start before anywhere, so becareful when booking your round they have very limited cooking hours. Luckily Beaumaris is only down the road with plenty of pubs. Thank goodness for a well stocked pro shop, so we managed to buy chocolate and protein bars to eat on the round. Breakfast at home at 7am and didn't get to eat properly till 4pm. But very enjoyable day and would definitely go back, but with sandwiches. Very friendly staff.Reviewer Rating
