We got lost
Trying to get from 9th green to 10th tee. Def recommend a stroke saver for first timers. Head of Golf could not have been more accommodating after speaking to him in the car park. Wonderful course. Looking forward to playing the new course next time.Reviewer Rating

New course is a really good layout (prefer it to the old course). Greens & fairways in great condition. Bunkers could do with some consistency as some soft some hard. Nice clubhouse and excellent facilities. Enjoyable round and day. Well worth a visit

Not quiet as good as it thinks it is, but still worth a visit.
Essendon thinks it's a premier venue but falls down on several points. The old course needs some serious TLC. The bunkers are pretty awful. The greens appeared to have been flooded so were very soft, well beyond receptive. The fairways needed a good trim too. The new course is in much better condition, although the "famous" second greens appear to have been abandoned. The clubhouse needs an upgrade, it's looking very tired inside. They are also charging preium rates to play it which aren't fully justified.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course, lightning greens
Played the old course, and absolutely loved it. Helps that I played well, but the members I played with said they?d never seen it in such good condition. Every hole is different and the greens were awesome. True and rapid.Only down side was not serving food on a warm sunny day. Missed a trick there, albeit I understand employment challenges at this time.

Good course - slow round but that is not the clubs fault. A bit short - can only think of driver required on 3 holes. Still some really good holes - 16 is great.
