Superb course

Great but tricky course
I've been a member of HARWOOD GC for just over 18 months now and have to say its a fantastic course not very long but not an easy course to play it will catch you out if you approach it thinking it looks easy well maintained by the green keeping staff friendly members and a great pro who,s always on hand to give advice also a nicely stocked shop for anything you need all in all a great golf course highly recommended.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 24.8)

Been a member at hardwood for two years now love the course its a very tight course not very long but quite narrow makes you think your way round and makes you think about club choice too especially off the tee,s good well stocked pro shop run by a great pro dale who,s very helpful,friendly members and friendly barstaff, overall great course and great golf club highly recommended.

Found the club and the course to be first class. After a very wet day, the day before. And an even higher volume of water falling overnight, it was surprising just how well the course played. First time playing the course and myself and my golf buddy would definitely recommend playing there again. Every hole holds a challenge to all levels of golfer and keeps you thinking all the way round. Warm and welcoming staff in the clubhouse, and made to feel very welcome.

Just played in the Seniors Open at Harwood Golf Club and thoroughly enjoyed the course.
They treated us like VIP’s, Geoff and John and all the Officials were excellent, in fact everyone from the Chef to the friendly bar staff were very professional.
We felt like members of Harwood not visitors, both agreed that we have never played in a friendlier club. We are booking for the Seniors Team Open in September on our return home.
Would have no problem recommending this club, which is a hidden gem to any golfer of any handicap to savour the course and the atmosphere within this great golf club. Warning get your putting game in order before you play this course.
It truly was a great day at Harwood Golf Club one we will be talking about for some time. see you in September.

Weather played a big part in the round, but a big factor was the new ball I tried for the first time, the new Callaway chrome soft,I read all the write ups, but now I believe all the Hype.

Fantastic best greens/fairways I've played this year. Ruff cut back, wind made it very challenging but still excellent. Value for money. Needs to be played to believe.

Challenging course, distance control required on the first 8 holes due to the undulating greens. The last 10 flatten out but are longer in length to compensate for this.A course I would return to as the sloping terrain and long par 5's on the back 9 make it very enjoyable.

Hilly but playable course.
This was the first time that I ventured over to Harwood and I did need my satnav to find it! However, it was an enjoyable eighteen holes despite a few climbs that would not please everyone. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition although the front nine did contain a fait few slopes? There were a few crossovers on the back nine but the fairways were somewhat flatter.Reviewer Rating

Early start pleasure

Great Condition
Had a ring round local courses and chose this one as all 18 greens were in play. Mats on fairways and some tee mats in play but otherwise the course was in good condition for the time of year and has great views as the first 9 holes climb up the hillside. Greens in good condition.Reviewer Rating

A Course of Two Halves
Some climbing involved during the front 9 to get your pulse racing but you get some fantastic views. Flatter back 9 with two Par 5’s. Entertaining course, well presented with decent greens - will come back.(Round played: Jun 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 17.6)
