Been a member at hardwood for two years now love the course its a very tight course not very long but quite narrow makes you think your way round and makes you think about club choice too especially off the tee,s good well stocked pro shop run by a great pro dale who,s very helpful,friendly members and friendly barstaff, overall great course and great golf club highly recommended.

Found the club and the course to be first class. After a very wet day, the day before. And an even higher volume of water falling overnight, it was surprising just how well the course played. First time playing the course and myself and my golf buddy would definitely recommend playing there again. Every hole holds a challenge to all levels of golfer and keeps you thinking all the way round. Warm and welcoming staff in the clubhouse, and made to feel very welcome.

Definitely in the hidden gem category. Not too long but testing and greens in immaculate condition. Great Course and will definitely come back, The only gripe was that the clubhouse was closed (but in was a Bank Holiday Monday) but I would highly recommend a visit..

Just played in the Seniors Open at Harwood Golf Club and thoroughly enjoyed the course.
They treated us like VIP’s, Geoff and John and all the Officials were excellent, in fact everyone from the Chef to the friendly bar staff were very professional.
We felt like members of Harwood not visitors, both agreed that we have never played in a friendlier club. We are booking for the Seniors Team Open in September on our return home.
Would have no problem recommending this club, which is a hidden gem to any golfer of any handicap to savour the course and the atmosphere within this great golf club. Warning get your putting game in order before you play this course.
It truly was a great day at Harwood Golf Club one we will be talking about for some time. see you in September.

Played this course through on-line special so were not expected much but very pleasantly surprised we were. Friendly welcome at clubhouse, nice breakfast. Pro shop closed on arrival but opened just before our allotted start time, friendly pro. Course in very good condition, greens fast and quite difficult to read, some pin positions were questionable. Par 3 10th had an uphill putt, reached the hole some 5inch level to the right side of it, ball then round back down past my original putt!!!! Well worth a visit if not played before, quite hilly on front 9, levels out somewhat on back nine. Good test of golf for all handicappers. Quite short in length but need to be fairly straight of the tee to score well. Will return someday for sure.

The greens were magnificent...very flat and true with no damage anywhere. The whole course was very well presented and a joy to play.
