Great but tricky course
I've been a member of HARWOOD GC for just over 18 months now and have to say its a fantastic course not very long but not an easy course to play it will catch you out if you approach it thinking it looks easy well maintained by the green keeping staff friendly members and a great pro who,s always on hand to give advice also a nicely stocked shop for anything you need all in all a great golf course highly recommended.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 24.8)

great course has its difficulties like you expect with friendly people and the green staff keep the course looking fantastic

Good course bad weather
Tough course in the wet,quite a few greens with water on. front 9 is tough walking buggy would be recommended. Holes easy to follow apart from hole 12 which is not sign posted well. club shop give a very warm welcome. would love to play againin nicer weather

(Round played: May 2017 - Score: 96 Handicap: 24.4)Harwood golf course is a must play course tight narrow fairways brings your course management into focus not a long course at 5915 yards of the white tee,s front nine very undulating back nine flat great course can play easy but can also Bare its teeth and play very difficult a good test for high mid and low handicappers recommended.

Nice looking course. In decent condition considering the time of year, but a few holes on temp green which were unplayable really. Some nice holes, but also some drab holes. Lots of pressure from members behind meant we had to play very quickly, almost having to get to the ball, hit the shot and keep walking. Very rushed and felt uncomfortable the whole round really. The fact we got round in 2hrs 55 mins says a lot really. Shop closed all day Sunday. Nowhere to sign in or grab a drink/chocolate beforehand. Full price (£20) despite reduced facilities and temp greens. Wouldn't return.

Been a member at hardwood for two years now love the course its a very tight course not very long but quite narrow makes you think your way round and makes you think about club choice too especially off the tee,s good well stocked pro shop run by a great pro dale who,s very helpful,friendly members and friendly barstaff, overall great course and great golf club highly recommended.

Found the club and the course to be first class. After a very wet day, the day before. And an even higher volume of water falling overnight, it was surprising just how well the course played. First time playing the course and myself and my golf buddy would definitely recommend playing there again. Every hole holds a challenge to all levels of golfer and keeps you thinking all the way round. Warm and welcoming staff in the clubhouse, and made to feel very welcome.

Definitely in the hidden gem category. Not too long but testing and greens in immaculate condition. Great Course and will definitely come back, The only gripe was that the clubhouse was closed (but in was a Bank Holiday Monday) but I would highly recommend a visit..

Just played in the Seniors Open at Harwood Golf Club and thoroughly enjoyed the course.
They treated us like VIP’s, Geoff and John and all the Officials were excellent, in fact everyone from the Chef to the friendly bar staff were very professional.
We felt like members of Harwood not visitors, both agreed that we have never played in a friendlier club. We are booking for the Seniors Team Open in September on our return home.
Would have no problem recommending this club, which is a hidden gem to any golfer of any handicap to savour the course and the atmosphere within this great golf club. Warning get your putting game in order before you play this course.
It truly was a great day at Harwood Golf Club one we will be talking about for some time. see you in September.
