Nice course, lovely pleasant setting. Greens had undergone some maintenance when i played in August so were not true -but will be lovely soon I am sure. Liked the quite forgiving fairways/adjacent fairways (especially on the new section of the course) - so was good for my ocassional slice off the tee! Playing in charity golf match in October so don't mind the 100 mile trip(Round played: Aug 2014 - Score: 85 Handicap: 17.2)

A very flat course - which gave a wonderful walk round for 36 holes. Great fun - highly recommended

I was here on a charity day and for the time of year the course was in great condition. Though this is a "common" course and thus free to public use, so be prepared for dog walkers and the like.... not to mention one fairway is the local cricket pitch on a Sunday so the square is fenced off in the middle of the fairway. Overall a lovely course with tricky (not long) holes and some great greens!Reviewer Rating

Beautifully maintained course, Tees and greens in tip top condition. Had a society day there and some 10 handicappers really went ot town below their handicap. So an easy course for the low handcappers - not a bad test for the rest of us.(Round played: Oct 2015 - Score: 87 Handicap: 17.3)

Always a good test with 2 types of course in 1. There is the old 9 holes which is more mature and situated on common land - be careful of the horses and dog walkers! The other 9 is more open, but the trees are starting to grow and this will be very demanding over the next couple of years. Greens are generally good and I always enjoy the course whenever I play there.

Flat parkland course, slow play
Mainly flat parkland course, first few holes very muddy even though not much recent rain. A few interesting holes but had the overriding feeling of back and forth. Some enormous greens and greens in very good condition. Very slow players. Fairways being spiked.Reviewer Rating

Fairly open course with a nice variety of holes including some quite tough par 3's. Some long par 4's and some short ones.Bunkers good- what is it with eyebrows? Grren were quick and at times difficult to read so dont be surprised if your puts swings away from the hole when you not expecting it. Excellent clubhouse.Reviewer Rating

Course in good condition - easily walkable which allows for players of all ages and abilities. Front 9, more of a parkland set-up, with the majority of the back 9, more open with wider fairways and more bunkers.

this is a really lovely course in harpenden in Hertfordshire. it is also a lot cheaper than the other harpenden golf course.
