Dirty and lots of litter everywhere.
Absolute filthy with litter everywhere. Not just a one off, it's everywhere all over every hole in the bushes and trees, all along the paths. Horrible. It's like playing golf in a bin. Shocking.Reviewer Rating

Nice Course
Lovely course, shame the guy in the pro shop was rude and particularly unhelpful. Have heard that the staff are rude from others who have played it but I didn't believe it. Until I experienced it my self!Reviewer Rating

Old Staple in Essex
The course was very dry therefore playing hard and fast could really do with a bit of rain as the fairways was beginning to crack up due to the dry conditions.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 10.7)

Open, but why.
Don't get me wrong. Being open meant I could get a game in. However with all the rain lately the courses are still open with buggies and trolleys. The buggies are skidding on the fairways and cutting them up. All other course I have looked at are carry only. Must be the ???? sign.Reviewer Rating

Awful condition
I have played both the upper and lower course numerous times over the past 15 years and have always felt both could do with a bit of TLC. Having played the lower course today (19th Aug), I can honestly say I’ve never seen the course in such a bad condition. The tee boxes bare and hacked to bits. The fairways unevenly grasses, covered in divots. The greens were bald, cut up and where there was grass, slow due to not being cut properly. The pace of play was ridiculous. Over 5 hours for a two ball. If your looking for somewhere to play... go spend your £29 elsewhere!Reviewer Rating
