1 star is too much.

Some greens were non-existent so the ball just ran through them and some were too thick so the ball would stop dead on some putts. Tee boxes were hacked and on numerous of occasions found my feet sliding into a pot hole. They have let the grass grow on the fringe and the fairways and it now looks like a barley field. I wouldn\'t normally leave this harsh of a review but charging £30 on the weekend pushed me over the edge.

Awful condition

I have played both the upper and lower course numerous times over the past 15 years and have always felt both could do with a bit of TLC. Having played the lower course today (19th Aug), I can honestly say I’ve never seen the course in such a bad condition. The tee boxes bare and hacked to bits. The fairways unevenly grasses, covered in divots. The greens were bald, cut up and where there was grass, slow due to not being cut properly. The pace of play was ridiculous. Over 5 hours for a two ball. If your looking for somewhere to play... go spend your £29 elsewhere!

Don’t wast your money or time

Played it today first time for 4 months, the worst condition I have ever seen the course in 25 years.
A complete dump the greens have hardly any grass on them the t boxes are like a cabbage patch, staff are rude, don’t bother or waste your money. Such a shame they have ruined the courses

If you ever wonder why the game of golf is dying!

This course has become the most expensive pay and play course in a 35 mile radius.

Played here today, gobsmacked by the price and the course nowhere near represented this. Do yourself a favour, go somewhere else!

Membership is disgusting

The owner is terrible. He has gotten rid of 7 day adult and senior memberships. He has also gotten rid of the junior membership. Subsequently, he has risen the 5 day membership prices by nearly £300. I would highly recommend that you do not purchase a membership until the owner comes back down to planet earth and realises the effect that he is having on people who play there on a regular basis.

average at best

a very poorly run golf course which is a shame because its a fantastic layout. came here for the first time this week and received extremely poor service both at the range beforehand and then in the proshop. staff are rude and unhelpful. the golf course is presented well considering the weather and I thoroughly enjoyed it, however I wont be going back as I refuse to give them any more of my money. weekday prices fair but weekend nowhere near £30 a round. I suggest you follow me as i will be going somewhere else in future until they change their staff setup.

There have been many changes of late. The attitude of some of the pro shop staff is very poor. The prices have gone up and the standard of the course has gone down considerably. Very sad when places like this one is privatised. The place also looks dirty and in need of decorating. The toilets smell and look dirty.

Played over here for a long time and honestly haven't seen It in worse condition than it is now. The pro shop staff are rude (barring one or two) and ignorant. The course is a fantastic layout but never seems to be in good condition. £29 a round at the weekend is scandalous and daylight robbery. Greens bobbly and not true. Holes cut at least an inch smaller than they should be. It's gone extremely downhill the past few years and I was suggest finding some where better to play your golf! The chinese is nice tho!
