Played this course on and off for over 40 years? wow that time has passed by quickly! It always plays well and the layout is as good as anywhere.

Holds Up Well

Worth a visit
This venue has two courses and is very forgiving well worth a visit.Monday and Wednesday you can get a buggy for £15 thats half price and on a Tuesday play both courses for around £20 .
Lower course is 6480 off the yellow tee and the upper cource is 5948.
The course has a cafe and is soon to open a smoke house also has a Italian resturant.

Long time since last played here course conditions were very good but waiting time at lower course very bad due to in allocated tee times played upper course instead

Very good condition
It's been about a year since I last played Hainault. It can get bone dry in summer and very muddy in winter, but it was in excellent condition on September 18th. We really enjoyed our game, and it's great value (especially for the over-60s).Reviewer Rating

With 2 courses at Hainault, there wasn't an issue getting a teetime early to mid-morning. Played in February, so the course was a little wet underfoot, with several wet areas. We played the lower course, which was still a good challenge. The course wanders its way up the side of a hill and then back down again. There are some interesting holes that test your positioning off the tee. A couple of greens had tyre tracks from where idiots had driven motorbikes on, but it was an enjoyable round. Decent size pro shop, in an old barn style clubhouse. I'd be tempted to play the upper course during warmer days to see what that's like. Overall though, a bad day at golf, is so much better than a good day at work !!!

To many long par 4 nearly got hit by 2 builders in a bugger if that’s the type of member they have no etiquette what so ever 2 of the tees were mates inJune isn’t winter . greens very marked to many pitch marks just an example off possible the type of golfer this place encourages or don’t care attitude of the people that play
