An absolutely outstanding venue with a cracking 18 hole course and excellent facilities. The greens were in awesome condition and there are many interesting features such as false fronts, changes in elevation and pretty views.

The course is one of the premier courses in the county and is in superb condition for the time of the year.

Excellent course

Best course in North London
Well conditioned Alister Mackenzie designed parkland gem. Always fantastically well conditioned when I've played it. It may appear generous off most of the tees but the difficulty lies in not only hitting the (frequently raised) Mackenzie greens but in making sure you are the right side of the pin. If not, good luck!Lovely clubhouse, warm welcome, good food, and excellent practice facilities to boot.

Great test of golf! A must play if in the area!

Superb golf course, always a challenge
Hadley Wood is a classic MacKenzie course, each hole is a challenge and there are some birdie chances than can quickly turn into double bogey unless you concentrate.Greens are in great condition, as are the practice facilities.

Real Gem
Course in superb condition. Fast and very tricky greens with wild breaks, some downhill putts unstoppable. Not particularly long but accuracy approaching the greens is key.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 83 Handicap: 12.1)

A gem!!
Firstly... Very welcomed by the pro. This place is truly fantastic. Managed to get a twilight for £35, which is a steal. The course is in great shape, and the greens are superb, quick as lightning.Will be returning as soon as I can

Friendly Parkland Gem
I was pleasantly surprised to find an Alister MacKenzie designed course I could reach by public transport, could afford, and which would let me on to play! The course is just a short walk from Hadley Wood rail station so for a visitor to London it's an excellent option. Pro was very welcoming, rental clubs were a mixed bag but the AP2 irons were fine. Bring water! There's none on the course and the turn isn't until the 11th. The course itself is wide open tee to green and easy to walk. The greens are really the only defense against posting a low score - they're multi-tiered and moderately quick so you'll need to make a lot of six footers if you're an aggressive putter. As an overall layout this would be just a mid-level test where I live in New England, but this close to London, this affordable (GBP60) and this friendly, it's an easy four stars!Reviewer Rating

Played Hadley Wood recently in a Pro-Am competition. The course was in superb condition. Greens slick and true, fairways well presented and bunkers excellent. From the moment we got there until we left, the hospitality was superb...and I can't wait to return
