Loved this course and the members.
This course has moved on so much in the last 18 months. The new green keeper has sorted out all the main problems with the course, put in new bunkers, and is working so hard getting the greens in the best quality possible. He's add members helping with sorting out the drainage, placing a fountain in the 18th hole pond, getting the fairways in great condition. If this is a course that you have not played for a while, I strongly recommend you take another look, and with some amazing membership deals being had at the moment it really is a course on the way up. Massive inprovements made
This course has always had a friendly feel to it, but was in need of some TLC to turn it into a really good course. I am pleased to say that Major changes have been made, and there are more changes to come. The introduction of a new head green keeper, Ben, he's come here with a 5 yr plan and is being backed all the way by the club. What he's done in the last 12 months is amazing. Well worth a visit, warm welcome from all.
It is only the second time I have played this course and both times I have really enjoyed it. The members and the committee give you a real warm welcome and it is no wonder that this is a thriving club with the membership soaring.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 84 Handicap: 16.2)

first time we have been here. It was in great condition and the best greens we've played this year. At £13 great value aswell.

Greens in fantastic condition (Three were shut due to Hollow Tining) and the course overall was in fantastic conditon.

this is an 18 hole parkland course which is in excellent condition. its £24 for a mid week day ticket but there are plenty of offers if you see the excellent pro. the club house is a swiss chalet type and the catering is excellent value numerous items on the menue for under a fiver. The club welcoms guests and makes them feel really welcome.they do a society package of bacon barm 10 holes soup and sandwiches 18 holes and evening meal all for £30. have a look at the web site greatleverfarnworthgolfclub.com. well worth a visit highly recommended.

This course is getting better every month, they have a CRAZY offer on at the moment, Less than £15 a week for FULL MEMBERSHIP !
