This could soon become one of the nicest courses around. Considering the time of year and recent weather conditions it is playing really good at the moment and I think in the coming months it will become an excellent course.
Add that to a friendly clubhouse and very reasonable green fees, recommended.

In good order

Very forgiving course, wide fairways, dry after some rainy days.You have to be pretty wayward to get into trouble. Greens very good condition most are fairly flat and seem to be consistent on pace hit it at hole it goes in (28 putts).

great course

fantastic greens, well worth a visit for any level of golfer will definitely play again

Played twice in last 2 weeks. Really impressed and a massive improvement since last year. At the rate its improving they could have a little gem on there hands.

Poor

Course is in poor condition, and even if it were in better state it's uninspiring. Real issue the price they charge - £20 for a place that still needs a lot of work. Go play Blakes or Barkway for half the price if you want to save the money and aren't fussed about course condition.

Improving course close to Bishop's Stortford

Pleasant course in the Hertfordshire countryside. The course has been improved over the last couple of years since new owners, and work continues. Clubhouse large but impersonal with average food.

Enjoyable round

My friend played here having played here only once before in 2017. At the time, there was a lot of work going to change and improve the course so it was interesting to see how things had changed. The two nines had been swapped so the old 10th is now the new 1st. We felt that the course had improved but was still a work in progress. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our round and would definitely play here again. The clubhouse staff were helpful and friendly too, which helped in the enjoyment of the day.

Shocking condition !!! Greens are probably the worst greens I have ever played on. Will never play here again, especially for £20, and that was late afternoon. Course is very shabby, piles of mud on sides of quite a few fairways. I know the course is trying to upgrade, but charging £20 or more is outrageous.

Needs some attention but great value and quick round

Looks a little tired and in need of some cash to be spent on it but it's great value Twilight and easy to get round quickly in a buggy

layout is good but the course is let down by unfinished work on most holes. Green are flat and true but too firm.
