Great tight course, its not the longest course but you have to be accurate off of the tea otherwise its easy to go into the first/second cut and even the trees. The greens are in good condition and challenging. The only thing I would suggest to the club is ensure the bunkers have sand in them all round the course. some are a bit bare but other than that, great course with some challenging holes.

Maintenance week so greens were bobbly but were consistent. No deals available. Frosty environment but course itself is a challenge

Short and tight,

Green not as good as last year.
You have to pick a time or you'll have a very slow round. Later in the day ie: after lunch is my pick.

A thoroughly enjoyable visit to this great shortish course. One of the friendliest courses I've been to in Kent. Expect some very short, drivable par 4's and some very long par 4's that are very challenging. There's some really attractive par 3's especially the 18th overlooked by the lovely modern club house with balcony.
The course was in superb condition with plenty of greenskeepers out in force which is always a positive sign of well looked after cause. Speedy greens and narrow fairways with out of bounds posts separating several fairways and trees everywhere. Pretty views but some heavy traffic noise on some holes was an annoyance.
Bunkers will easily catch you out and they're not pleasant to play out of because due to a lack of sand. The other downside is having to cross a busy road two or three times between holes
Very challenging in windy conditions. Not particularly hilly so suitable for seniors as well as younger players.
Highly recommended. Will play here again for sure!.

BE STRAIGHT or you score Eight

really tight the longer you hit the straighter you need to be or look out.
Green fast fairways a joy but they are narrow. ONLY one real moan Beware of the bunkers hardly any sand and full of stones if they don't ruin your card they ruin your wedge.

In great condition

Everything was in great nick, fairways were tidy, lush green and tightly cut. Greens were true not too quick but still a test (a few pitchmarks but then that's down to lazy members mainly at most clubs.....if every member repaired just 2 on each green it wouldn't be a problem).
Clubhouse staff and Pro were welcoming and the food was excellent. Great value for money at ?25 for the round on a Bank Holiday. Pro regripped a club for my whilst we were out playing, good service.

Good winter course

I played in winter and unlike some courses had very few winter fees and the ground wasn't too boggy.

The only complaint I had on the day was temporary matts, if I?d have known when I booked, I would have went elsewhere. The rest of the course was in top condition, especially the greens.
