Good condition
Glad to see they didn't waste much water. So only watered after 100 yards off the tee and not at all on the par 3?s. Hillier that I remembered, or maybe I got older. Service in Bar X1X atrocious. 50 min wait for a burger.Reviewer Rating

Improved a lot, still expensive for what it is though
I've played at Foxhills for many years now, initially as a corporate member, and latterly as a members guest. The overall set up at Foxhills is very good, and after a couple of years where it dropped off the pace, is now back to a good level. The course has noticeably improved in condition from 2 years ago.
My only gripe with the course is the cost, as a members guest it is reasonable enough but if you were a visitor I am not sure you would find it good value for money. Otherwise, I would recommend to play for people who know members or go via corporate. The staff in the clubhouse were very good too, and much improved on previous experiences in the last 2-3 years.

Brilliant day out
Played the Longcross, which was just in perfect condition. The greens, fairways and bunkers are clearly all looked after very well. I loved the feeling of being amongst the trees (scenery wise!) and some of the views surrounding you such as the 8th and 14th holes are so memorable. Brilliant practice facilities, an enormous chipping green, with another well cared for bunker and several putting greens scattered in the grounds. Course was very busy, and had an extremely slow two ball in front, but not the fault of the club. The country club and grounds had a very friendly and professional feel to it. Paid £105 for a Monday afternoon round, but I feel it’s justified for a challenging and enjoyable round. A mention also to the 1st tee starter Paul, who was very welcoming and helpful in what to expect during your round and gave great advice.Reviewer Rating

Longcross Course
After 7 holes my feeling was 'it's nice, but there's not a lot of memorable holes here". That certainly improves over the last 11 holes, with a few really lovely holes in amongst them. Pride of place is probably the par 5 14th hole, which you play from a raised tee to a fairway below between an avenue of trees. The condition of the greens, tees and fairways couldn't be faulted, and while there are lots of tree lined fairways, there didn't appear to be too many where you couldn't at least have a chance of finding any wayward shots.
The clubhouse is as good as it gets, and it appears that there are all of the practise facilities that you could desire. My advice is if you get a chance to play here then do it. You won't be disappointed.

Good but slightly below expectations
First time at Foxhills and the Longcross course, overall good experience but course conditioning needs some attention in places, particularly around the greens - too many hard pan bare lies in scratchy grass cover. We played after 5pm on the sunset rate which is good value at £35 and it was a very relaxed experience, not at all stuffy or resentful of visitors though we were surrounded by other visitors no doubt. Good practice facilities to warm up too. I would return on the sunset rate but definitely not at full price. Played Ashford Manor last week where the conditioning was really good, though more character and attractive scenery at Foxhills. Greens good but again not quite as good as they should be I think.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 96 Handicap: 23.2)

superb condition is standard
i was lucky to play with a member and got the half price rate although i'm a 20 handicapper£50 pounds for the round was enough to stress my grip and posture. however immaculate the course is and some holes are short but ball position is vital on most holes.
