A great course and experience

two rounds of golf, stayed in the dormy B&B. Wonderful service and a wonderful golf experience. We have played here for 5 consecutive years now, and have always enjoyed the visit. Highly recommended.

Brilliant

Second time around formby this year. As always it was challenging and as always the course was fantastic. Probably my favourite course. Brilliant

A tremendous course

One of the best in the North West. Add this to any trip to the area. The 7th is one of the finest par 4 holes in the country.

A wonderful club & course

We are always greeted with a warm welcome.
Club house is especially nice & shorts are permitted.
Drinks, food & service are top quality.
The course is rather special including a good test of your golf skills.
Highly recommended

Great course. Rained a lot the last few days but course was in great condition.drains extremely well.

Formby fantastic second year running

Just live this course. If it is good enough for Bubba Watson's practice before the Open.... say no more. The course is superb. The tree lined first nine are magnificent ( we all struggled to score well) and the back nine links is so enjoyable ( and a bit easier) I find myself standing looking around sucking in all the views not forgetting the sea view from the 10th and the waves were so loud. One golfer drove 6 hours from south coast to be here it is that good. Staying in the Dormy house to play the slightly shorter 'ladies' course tomorrow. Massive shout out to the lady who organises everything Julie Stong in the office. She is so friendly and can't do enough to help make your stay perfect she even say with us to have morning coffee.....she just sums up the place....so friendly! The £240 4 ball with soup and sandwiches is so good value. Only downside was the course was busy before we went out so round took 4 hours 45. So only just finished on the 18th by the lights of the clubhouse

Fantastic as Ever

My favourite coast on the coast. Love being able to play here when i get the chance. Everything about the course and its condition is simply superb - shame about my golf on the day!
