Brilliant experience
The variety of the golf holes and the club house and traditional accommodation making it an overall brilliant experience from breakfast to golf, to dinner, to snooker to bed.Reviewer Rating

Outstanding course, one of the best courses I have ever played. Each hole was very challenging in it's own way although 6-14 were particularly tough

Brilliant

The ultimate English golf experience. period

from start to finish this is just class. But stay in the dormy and drink in the whole experience of staying in the historic club house. The golf is amazing, the members and staff are so friendly.
Go play and stay. Find Julie Strong in the office who will sort it all for you. She's amazing!

Fantastic course worth visiting

Amazing
This course is amazing. Very hard though. Staying on the fairway is vital if you want to have any chance of a good round. A gem of a course(Round played: Aug 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 15.6)

A great course and experience
two rounds of golf, stayed in the dormy B&B. Wonderful service and a wonderful golf experience. We have played here for 5 consecutive years now, and have always enjoyed the visit. Highly recommended.Reviewer Rating

Brilliant

A tremendous course
One of the best in the North West. Add this to any trip to the area. The 7th is one of the finest par 4 holes in the country.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 11.4)

A wonderful club & course
We are always greeted with a warm welcome.Club house is especially nice & shorts are permitted.
Drinks, food & service are top quality.
The course is rather special including a good test of your golf skills.
Highly recommended
