Good course but a fair walk just to the first tea! Enjoyable with some testing holes.

Course was good and well layed out. Unfortunately it was very wet and boggy in places - not sure on the drainage?

Played the course in early August. Decent course but work is needed on a) the tees and b) the greens. Tees need wastering and more grass. Greens were rock hard and very very dry. They need to be regularly watered.

Good holes apart from the second which has a ridiculously difficult two tier solid green. Most greens were impossible to pitch.

The course has much promise but more work is needed.

Played two days in a society, the course is ideal for this. Some holes are similar and the greens dont hold too well. We had two good days

Great pay and play option in North Leicestershire, just a shame the greens are "corded" and there is work going on across the 9th and 18th approaches.

Great course, very busy on Good Friday. Greens being worked on as time of year, but could have done with knowing at time of booking.

Testing course, but it helps to keep the drives off the tee on the fairway. Greens in poor condition due to recent rain.

Thought the fairways were a bit long, some nice holes though. I played with a member, so cost was ok. However, £35 for a non-member is not your pay and play type course. Would need to be a member if you want to play here regular.

Greens have been treated which is why the course rating is down. Bunkers (with the exception of the 2nd, 9th and 18th) have little sand in them. Some of the tees are in desperate need of water. Otherwise it's a very nice place, staff are helpful and polite and the new owners are doing their bit to improve the course.

Challenging course

First time visit to this course using a free round voucher. Overall the course was in very good condition although there the 10th hole was closed due to the range net being broken and it runs down the side of the range. To compensate the 11th par 5 has been converted into a par 4 & par 3, which is a shame as the 11th overall looks an awesome par 5 hole on its own. We were asked by the course marshall to let an older couple through as they were late to their tee time and playing a lot faster, he was very polite about it. The only issue we had as a first time visitor was the 2nd tee location was confusing so could do with a sign pointing in the direction. It was pointed out to us by a member but we'll know for next time!
Can't comment on the clubhouse facilities as all we had was an after round beer.
The practice driving range is superb with all bays having toptracer facilities but we didn't know there was a practice chipping/putting green until after our round due to it being away from the driving range, again a sign would be beneficial.
Overall an excellent course and we will definitely be visiting again.
