The front 9 has some severe elevation changes and slopes on the fairways so something to consider for those with mobility issues.
Course is a real challenge with some excellent par 3's. Course was in excellent condition with greens without a bleamish and some subtle slopes.
Clubhouse and facilities are very good with reasonable priced food and drink.

I always feel welcome whenever I play as a visitor at Flackwell Heath Golf Club. It's a really interesting 18 holes that are always in great condition and will make you want to play it again! The course itself is hilly in places but this adds to your game! For the price you pay and the golf you get, the Green Fees are very reasonable for your round. This was my first time at Flackwell Heath and i had been warned how hilly it was but did not envisage it being so hilly! The front 9 is a hard walk especially due to the recent rain we have had. The greens are very good and the course is in very good condition. The back 9 is much flatter and an easier walk with houses on view at most holes. I would play here again but would certainly recommend a buggy!

One of the best condition courses in the area, bunkers not too good (not enough sand), but then should be avoided anyway, great value with no joining fee but need to watch how crowded this makes the course

Beautiful Golf course
First time at Flackwell Heath and really enjoyed the course.Apart from the noise from the M40 I couldn'r fault it, every hole was interesting and a test.
Fairways and bunkers were excellent as were tee boxes.
Greens looked like they have had some work recently but were still in very good condition.
It is quite hilly for the first 12-14 holes or so but has a reasonably flat finish to recover from.
Well worth a visit and with only £30 on a Saturday using a County Card it was a bargain.

Too expensive
£25 tops. Charged £35. Greens were too long and inconsistent. Holes 13-18 were an open field.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 91 Handicap: 19)

Tough course especially holes 5-8 at the bottom of the hill where the rough is lush. Holes at the top of the hill (1,2,13-18) are scenic.

Course is in very good condition with some hilly challenging holes to test your metal. Staff and members welcoming. As a party of seven we all agreed this is a well looked after course and will be coming back.

Played late afternoon on a windy day, so a good test of club selection. Greens were excellent. fast and true. This is the sort of club you need to play a few times to understnad the yardages, depending on the wind direction.
Only downside is the constant background noise from the M40.

I attended Flackwell Heath Open Day. It was challenging course but I enjoyed my round. Everyone received a warm welcome by staff. I would like to thank every staff for arranging a wonderful day.

Good course
I've played here 3 times in the last couple of months in varying weather conditions and it's a really good course to play. A bit hilly, but is drains well. There are not really any boring straightforward holes, there's always a challenge, especially on the greens. Very enjoyable. The only thing I would criticise is the bunkers as they sand is very gritty and stoney in places and could do with upgrade, but otherwise lovely. The staff are all friendly and they have good ale in the bar.Reviewer Rating

Good Parkland Track
Flackwell is an excellent parkland course just by the M40.It was in fantastic condition for early February, particularly the greens which were superb.
The first 12 holes are superb, excellent use of the terrain with some great views across Buckinghamshire.
The 3rd, 5th & the 8th are challenging par 3's, two down hill & one up hill. Take at least one club extra on the 8th.
The 13th to the 18th are a little less inspiring, but still nice nonetheless.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

It was raining but the course was great
I played in a Senior's Inter Club match after the wettest month for decades if not ever!Whilst on the first tee it hammered down and there was a strong wind.
However the course was in excellent condition there were a couple of bunkers with water in otherwise it played extremely well. The greens were in lovely condition and rolled truly. The Fairways were lovely as well.
It is a tricky course and requires sensible shot making and it is quite difficult to work out distances just by eye. A really enjoyable course and the Clubhouse was excellent. The welcome good, and the food and drink lovely.
An excellent day out in what should have been awful conditions. I MUST make the effort to play it in better conditions especially now I know what to look out for on the course.

Challenging Layout
Very physically demanding course, with many holes on hills. Would recommend a buggy.I think it would suit the lower handicapper better. High handicaps (such as me) struggle to get decent scores on the longer holes.
Course was in good condition, although the greens had just been treated, which meant putting was trickier than it would be normally. The bunkers need re-sanding as most had a very gritty, harsh sand which meant escapes were not straight-forward. Good value for money overall.

Lovely tidy course.
Nice course just off the M40. Some difficult holes whilst others were more accessible if you were straight off the tee. 4th hole is challenging, tee shot down into the valley and the steep shot into green, whilst the par 3 5th is a gem of a hole as played downhill to a relatively small green. the first 9 holes were muddy but very playable given the amount of rain.Reviewer Rating

Half hillside, half parkland in good condition
Interlaced parkland (8 hols) and hillside (10 holes) course in good condition, aside from the one bunker entered (green side 17th) that had inadequate sand. Fast greens that somewhat misleadingly didn’t take the camber. Parkland rather up and down but made up for by the interesting hillside ones.Reviewer Rating

First time round here. Lovely course in good condition. Greens rolled very nicely. More variety than I expected and it certainly keeps you thinking as you go round. Several sloping fairways which gives a few interesting lies. Nice welcome in the pro-shop and good bar which was showing the footy when we came in post round. Excellent twilight value at £35. Well worth playing.

One of the best maintained and challenging courses in the area. Greens are in excellent condition, fairways are tight and accurate approach shots required to hit the greens. Great elevation changes requiring thought for club selection. Welcoming club house with reasonably priced food and drinks
