Marvellous course. Fairways in mint condition. Greens were fast but true. Overall setting made it a pleasant day.

This was our first visit to Ferndown with our society and what a great day it turned out to be. Beforehand, other people had suggested to me that the club was a bit stuffy amd still set in the past but not at all - we were warmly greeted by all of the staff and members that we met and enjoyed some really tasty bacon rolls with our coffee. We found the course to be in excellent condition for the time of year. We all agreed that the course was outstanding. Really good golf holes were in abundance !! Our compliments to everyone at Ferndown do not change anything. We have already booked for next year and definitely look forward to coming back.

An excellent, excellent old members club. Play it if you get tthe chance. You can generally only get on on a tuesday or friday in high season.
