Hilly cousre
A very hilly course but with some good holes. The fairways could have done with a cut as some were pretty long but the weather has not been great up to now so could well be the reason for keeping the mowers off until it firms up a bit. Greens are OK but slow. They do have some good holes with elevated tee box's and having to carry ponds or lay up. You will get plenty of up/down hill lies as well. The pro was super friendly and helpful. Overall not bad but not the best, will visit again in the summer and see how much it changes with the fairways and greens.Reviewer Rating

good course!
Plenty of challenges! shame the greens arent kept well... Also bunkers had very little sand if no sand!(Round played: Aug 2016 - Score: 118 Handicap: )

Very challenging course - ideal for societies with an overnight stay. Facilities include pool, snooker and squash as well as a bar and lots of seating with DBB option.

Greens in poor condition alongwith the bunkers. Around the clubhouse the gardens etc could benefit from some care and attention.

The greens were hard and dry, some had little grass. A challenging and enjoyable course though.

Challenging hilly parkland course. Some water particularly on a couple of the par 3 holes making them a real challenge. Course is suffering from the wet weather. Is lowlying in places, particularly 17th and 18th making them VERY BOGGY. Greens difficult to read due to slopes and difference in maintenance. Some holes had been sand dressed others had not.

firsdt time visit could be better greens very mis matched grass which made putting a lottery but good layout of the course
