I've only played it once whilst on holiday nearby, but my initial impression of East Morton is a 9 hole course with lovely views and excellent greens. It's also on the side of a hill, and I can't remember a single hole where you're not either going uphill or downhill, so that has to be taken into consideration if you struggle with climbs.

This isn't an especially easy course, with trees lining pretty much every hole, and on a few of them it'd really easy to get out of position. The tees were decent, and the greens were really smooth.

There isn't really much of a clubhouse, just a small office where you can play or grab snacks or drinks for your round, but the welcome was warm.

I didn't see much in the way of practice facilities other than a couple of nets, but it looked like there was a practice green under repair.

It's certainly worth giving a go if you're in the area.

IN GOOD NICK WHEN CONSIDERING WEATHER CONDITIONS

With all the rain then frost and back to rain, i was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the course especially the greens. A little boggy down bottom end (along canal) but certainly playable.
As usual made welcome on arrival by staff.

Arrived on a damp and windy Saturday afternoon, a great friendly welcome by all members and staff. Very reasonable pricing on green fees and and other ancillaries. Course in good condition despite heavy rain day before. Greens were a bit damp and played very slow. Quite undulating course and probably not good for less mobile golfers though they do have buggies if ordered in advance. Fantastic view across the valley, would play here again.

Hidden gem!

Great course on the boarders of Bingley/Keighley. 9 challenging holes. Just enough if you've only got a couple of hours and different tees if you fancy 18.
