you need your climbing lungs
This course has a relentless climb from the 1st to 9th holes. All greens are pitched severely back to front. Don't go above the pins, which will usually end up with you 3 putting or even worse.There are some very picturesque treelined fairways. Greens are very slippery!

course in great conditions, greens very firm and fast making it tricky. As always the wind was blowing.

I play this course nearly every week and it has dried out really well. Some really challenging holes with the par 3 15th being star in my opinion. Greens are still running true

Course still good condition despite the amount of rain recently. Greens slightly slower than normal but only to be expected for the time of year.(Round played: Feb 2022 - Score: 82 Handicap: 9.1)

Great for time of year
For the time of year and after a long wet spell, the Valley course was in great condition. A couple of temporary tees, but all greens open and fairways also holding up well.Reviewer Rating

The greens are in great condition with the green keepers cutting them daily. The rough is now down to a playable level so pace of play is kept up. Although you rarely get a flat lie on the slopping fairways they are some of the best i have played on recently.

The course at the moment is in great condition, the greens are very true and fast there is always work being carried out on the course by the green keepers but never interferes with play(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 85 Handicap: 14)

Very good course with tricky greens. Set on a hillside with marvellous views of the countryside. Well worth a visit
