Erewash Valley Summer Course
The course was in excellent condition. Both the fairways and greens were clear of leaves. The weather was good when we played, however we have had some heavy rain in the area recently but the ground was firm. All holes were open. The greens were in excellent condition. great course very tricky in places, greens could be better, had been spiked recently so made putting abit tricky but overall in great condition.

Top course and in very good condition. We did not play the quarry holes which, we understood , open next week. Many lovely holes with fine views. Very near the M1 motorway in parts but that would be blocked out if you stayed focused on your game. Quite Hilly especially halfway through back nine but then downhill to clubhouse. Greens very good - bunkers exceptional. Nice touch to have ball cleaners on the tees. Facilities and club house looked suburb and everyone very helpful and friendly. Can't believe anyone would not want to come back. Ticks all the boxes

First time visitor to Erewash after many years waiting for the right time. I was not disappointed, tough course and defiantly not for the those that are big hook or slices of the ball off the tee. Really well presented course tee to green. Loved it and can't wait to return.

Really good facilities, good club, challenging course in parts
Some cracking holes at the beginning and end, a bit "samey" midway up and down on a slanted hill. Can be a bit of a hike, buggies were a massive help on a hot day. But enjoyed it. Some long and very challenging holesReviewer Rating

Erewash Valley Review
Round played October 2024. Unfortunately due to weather the week before we played, the ground was extremely wet and a lot of mud balls were to be had. As a result the course played extremely long. To be fair the greens were still good, but it's quite apparent this course is not a winter course. We played from the white tees and the middle of the round was a complete slog, up and down the adjacent fairways that added no variety to the round. The par 3's in the quarry are probably the only positive to take away from our visit, although I think the club close these holes during winter. I would recommend playing Erewash Valley in the summer months rather than winter to get a better golfing experience.Reviewer Rating

Motorway gem
the original golf course was shortened due to the M1 being constructed through its grounds. the compensation for this paid for an excellent clubhouse and function room facility that provides superb food at a great price.This is a well kept, members golf club that prides itself on the standard of its greens and the course presentation.the fairways were hard and fast but the greens still in great order. The signature quarry holes were in play and are a quirky but enjoyable feature to the course. There are some parallel holes but the tree line makes fairway finding tight. This venue is well worth a visit for the travelling golfer and those living locally report it is a friendly, well run, members facility. I always enjoy playing here and todays visit did not disappoint.Reviewer Rating

Easily Accessible
Easy to access via Junction 25 of the M1. Lockdown provisions fully in place but felt reassuringly safe throughout. The course is in good condition.The greens and surrounds were in superb order played fast and true. I know the clubhouse and the service is usually excellent however many staff are currently furloughed but my marks on based on several previous visits.this is an excellent course for the visiting golfer.
