Outstanding condition
This is neither a long nor a tough course but challenging enough to make you think. Mainly a parkland course over some undulating Essex countryside. There are enough well placed bunkers, ponds and trees to make you need to place your tee shots. The trees are are mixture of mature and young which will only improve the course over time.Played this course a number of times but just played it in January and it is in outstanding condition, well done to the green keepers. The far end of the course is bounded by the M25 and M11 so when you're down there enjoying your game spare a though for all those poor souls stuck in traffic jams or going to work, it'll put that slice or hook you just played into perspective.

Best course I've ever played. Not flat and boring, fantastic greens. Good value for money. Will play again.

Nice little course
A nice little course tucked away in the north of Essex. Good and interesting layout with rolling hills.(Round played: Feb 2019 - Score: 100 Handicap: 18.7)

Short but challenging
I played with a golf society at Epping in October 2019. I've played here many times and it is very enjoyable course to play. We always play off the whites but even that is only 5434 yards. The outstanding feature of the course is the quality of the greens - they are pretty fast and caught me out on this last occasion. The staff in the clubhouse are so friendly and helpful - other golf clubs could learn a lesson here. The three course dinner in the evening was excellent and easily beat the vast majority of golf society meals that we have experienced. The clubhouse is rather cramped and certainly not as smart as other courses but it is an extremely place to visit.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 109 Handicap: 31.2)

Great little course
First time play Epping Golf Course. Found it to be a great little course, good fairways, greens in fantastic condition. Nice challenging course with doglegs, slopes and some interesting holes. Friendly staff.I we definitely play here again and would recommend this course.

hilly
nice course in very good condition only let down by a few t,boxes is a short course with some difficult greens(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 97 Handicap: 26.6)

(Round played: Feb 2019 - Score: 89 Handicap: 20.7)

Great fun
The course is very well kept and the staff were lovely. I would recommend this course to anyone as it's challenging but fun.

Great value
Course in very good condition, the greens are very firm and fast, only downside is the bunkers are in poor condition, even rakes are bad,

Very friendly. Well kept
Great course for beginners to intermediate. In lovely condition

Short but worth it
Greens all in good condition, one or two tee boxes could do with some help, but for less than £20, well worth a visit(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 80 Handicap: 15)

Always a good short-ish course for a round
Always in great condition and a good challenge with the long/mid irons with mostly par 4s so leave the big stick at home.
