Jewel in the Staffordshire Crown
I now see what the hype is all about! Two fantastic courses in one club, how greedy of them!! We paid the winter day rate and just about managed to squeeze both in before the light faded too much.We played Highgate first. Thoughtfully laid out with some beautiful holes that challenge you without being spectacular. Every hole is different though. You never feel like you're just playing up and down. However, we realised this was just the prelude to the real gem that is the Lodge course.
The Lodge course is as good as any inland course you will find. Immaculate and pristine fairways are tree-lined and undulating. It evokes thoughts of classic courses like Wobourn. So many greens nestle in a cave of pine trees that challenge you to get your distances correct to avoid going beyond and into danger.
Brilliant day, wonderful golf and if you have ever toyed with the idea of playing there but for some reason not done it, chastise yourself now and get yourself to the club. You will not regret it. Will most definitely be going back to play again.

Great Course
Love this course, November golf at its best, greens worth the green fee alone the blend of Heath and wooded holes keep it interesting all the way round both courses. Fairways taken a beating in the summer but what golf course hasn’t. Tees like carpets and ale like velvet !!Reviewer Rating

Magnificent
I've played both courses at Enville numerous times and both are better and more challenging than any other courses in the area. The members make you feel so welcome. The practice facilities are better than any other I have used. You will not be disappointed!Reviewer Rating

What an experience
Played in the Lombard Trophy here last week, it was the best course I have played in the Midlands and cannot believe I have not played it before. Some great holes and in such amazing condition, the greens were top draw. The clubhouse and pro shop are good and what a treat to find practice facilities of this quality.Reviewer Rating

A Treat
Had a great day out in the sticks, it may be well away from the Surrey belt but these courses are well worth the Journey to play. I enjoyed both courses with some great holes, as someone has mentioned on here already it would lend itself to one course being all Heathland and the other parkland but that doesnt spoil and not give 5 stars, lovely little clubhouse and a well stocked pro shop and practice facilities that are great to warm up on.Reviewer Rating

2 Great Courses
Had a great 2 days at Enville playing both of its courses, stunning setting and in great condition firm and fast with greens in fantastic condition, certainly better then last time round 5 years ago. Practice facilities have matured well and must be some of the best around, great spike bar which I do not remember from the last visit.Reviewer Rating

Best just gets better
Amazing courses (Lodge and Highgate) - located off the beaten track but well worth the visit. Played again recently and am amazed how good the course was playing despite being winter. Great food and atmosphere in the spike bar, very friendly membership.Reviewer Rating

Best Played this year
Playing in a recent PGA Winter Alliance, over the years of playing Enville I'd always loved the venue but the condition of Tees and Greens left a lot to be desired however on a late Novembers day I have to say they were probably the best greens I've played on all year, with everything else Enville has to offer it is definitely a 5 star venueReviewer Rating

Best Course in the Midlands
Wow - what an amazing place. Played both courses and am pleased to say that they were fantastic. Greens were running smooth, and fairway were lush. Recommended - will be talking about this to anyone who will listen.Spike bar was particularly vibrant, with a real character.

Superb Greens on a Great Course
Finally I have played Enville and played on greens that matched the quality of the golf course !!! I played the Lodge one day and the Highgate the next, I actually preferred the Lodge which has just got something about it. Clubhouse and Pro shop a treat. I'll be back again soon just wished I lived local.Reviewer Rating
