I love it here. Friendly welcome from staff and members makes you feel at home. Very relaxed atmosphere in and around the clubhouse. Course was in fantastic condition and boasts a great variety of holes. X5 par 3\'s and x4 par 5\'s off the yellow tees meant I got to use all the clubs in my bag for a change. It\'s great to see the club improving the course too with a fantastic new elevated tee being built on 9 at the minute. Went in for a pint afterwards and rang the missus to come down for something to eat after my round. Just enquired about membership when I got home and got an immediate reply from the golf manager. I am one very satisfied visitor and soon to be member.

First time played last week as looking to join a club with a flexible approach to membership. Course was in excellent condition, particularly the fairways, considering the bad weather and will be even better in the summer. From first enquiry about playing, the welcome and information provided by the staff has been exceptional and puts other clubs to shame.Just wish it was a bit closer to where I live, but still likely to join.

Played this course for the first time today.greens immaculate even at this time of year,no temps at all. Tee areas in superb condition, nice and flat.clubhouse very modern and welcoming.youd be hard pushed to find a better course than this in the north west.

Enjoyed the course despite the wind. Greens were very good and the course though flat, coupled with the wind provided a challenge for all golfers. Our group ranged from 5 - 25 and no one burned the course up. \The clubhouse was fine, modern bar area and decent practice facilities. \

This is now an excellant course. There was a lot of building work two years ago. The course has now settled and playing well. In the last two years bunkers have been added to the 6th and 12th. There is a new T on the twelth which makes it a par 5 from the white Tees

No complaints for £11 a round. Only hole that was disappointing was the pylon hole, but the rest are decent enough

1st visit
Having only started playing golf a year ago and playing at a limited number of courses it was time to try a new course. It really was a challenge mainly due to my skills and the wet conditions. I will definitely be returning but hopefully when its dry. Walking from green to tee allows you to clock up your 10,000 steps. Greens in fantastic condition!Reviewer Rating
