Best course ive played in london. Worth double what it costs to play.

As an Ealing Golf Club member of nearly 30 years, I feel compelled to respond to the negative reviews from “John Ealing” and “Mick”. We are very welcoming to Visitors at Ealing. It is true that some members would enjoy to see that as a private club, we limited visitors, but we don’t and they are welcomed and looked after. Yes, we are adjacent to the A40 on just a couple of holes, but it does not affect the enjoyment of your round. The greens are fantastic and this is down to Greg Evans and his excellent team. You should also know that the greens are superb all year round and I had to laugh at the comment, “the members say they are unplayable for amateur members”, as this is simply rubbish! Our members love our greens and are rightly proud of them. Also, we don’t just have great greens – the rest of the course is wonderfully presented. The comment on the course flooding too often is once again, inaccurate. I can also confirm we have invested a lot of time and money to internally work on an extensive drainage programme which has seen significant changes to the playability of the course in the winter time when courses everywhere are wetter (not just Ealing!). We as members are actually blown away at the changes to the course since the drainage works commenced when we have experienced heavier rainfall. The comment that the Club House / food is “horrible” is inaccurate and spiteful and should be ignored. We have a fantastic range of menus which we have worked hard to deliver and the feedback on the food from members and visitors alike is positive. Please disregard the reviews that I reference at the start and come and make your mind up for yourselves.

Our Society played at Ealing last week and had a great day. The food throughout the day was excellent from the smoked bacon rolls, through to a very tasty lunch followed by a good golfers tea at the end of the day - not forgetting the bacon and egg rolls after the eighth hole! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Now to the Course - the course was in fantastic shape - beautifully manicured from tee to green and our members thought that the greens were probably the best they had played on in the UK - very true and very quick with excellent roll. Congratulations to the Head Greenkeeper!

Nice tight course
Tight course, lots of cross overs and tee boxes near greens etc. Greens in fabulous condition, very difficult to read. Lots of water for an inner city course. Worth a visit(Round played: Oct 2021 - Score: 91 Handicap: 13.4)

Very neat, well kept course

Oasis of calm off the A40
Well kept course, greens like snooker tables and very fast. There were a lot of leaves on the course, but otherwise it was very well maintained. Bunkers were a bit shallow, could do with more sand.(Round played: Oct 2017)

Very good well kept course and off course facilities. The group I played with all found the greens very fast which made good scores difficult. A challenging course which needs to be played regularly to cope with the speed of the greens. This apart it was an enjoyable day and I would definitely play there again.

I was member there during 3 months and a half as I was studying in London. I loved it ! I must recognize that the course is not wonderful but green keeping is AMAZING and the holes are varied and fun to play ! The spirit of this club is so cool: nice people, good professionals, nice proshop, good food (not expensive) !
If you are looking for a golf club close to central London, Ealing is the one for you ! If you are only looking for a green fee, Ealing is also nice as the prices are not that expensive !
