Much improved
I've played here a lot over the years with it years with it being local and cheap and always been frustrated by the lack of investment and care for the course. That seems to have changed now and the improvement to the course is very noticeable.Greens much smoother and true, fairways defined and bunkers raked with sand in. Only the tee beds slightly long and patchy.
A new driving range in place and a mini golf course. Food in the restaurant was also very good.
Will definitely be coming here more often if these levels are kept

Great course and very challenging. Green are fast and the 17th and 12th are tough holes. Love playing this course.

Greens best I've seen them
I use this title recently for this golf course, by I've got to say it again. They've come on another level.The whole course is actually in superb condition & a great test of golf.
It's a great parkland mix of trees, water & bunkers, with some stand out holes to really test your strategy.
In addition the recently added driving range with Trackman is superb & a fantastic addition to the already good practice facilities.
Add in the cafe & the friendliness of staff & locals & you have a superb days golf.

Lots of work is going into improving the course and it is beginning to show. With a bit more time, i can this course being excellent value for money. With today being a bank holiday, it was always likely to be a slow-ish round but some golfers were just taking the mickey.Reviewer Rating
