Great place to play golf. Me and my dad played here every time we play golf and enjoy it but some places are a bit narrow so a straight tee shot is a good idea unless you enjoy looking in bushes and trees for golf balls. Also good value for 18 holes.

Hidden gem
This little 9 hole course is hidden away but is quiet and great for beginners or those needing to practice their short game.
The course is well maintained.

Beginners nightmare.
I only took up golf about 6 months ago in my mid 60s. Some interesting corridors from some of the tees. Plenty of trees and ditches to lose your balls in. Great course too hone your skills on. Regular player as it's on my doorstep.
Bacon sandwich and a coffee wouldn't go amiss.

Played this for the 1st time monday 4th may 2014. I must say what a gem this course is. Its aim'd towards beginners/people easing back in or improving your short game. But for me who has played on and off for the last 6 years i found it a great challenge and it was a good step up for my friends who had only played pitch and putt and par 3's before. Firstly its quite narrow in places, but even when i hit wayward i was finding/recovering my ball. The par 4's are not particularly long but are long enough to test your skills with hybrid, woods or low irons. The greens are small and could do with being bigger to make it more challenging but are in great quality compared to other courses locally and you can have great fun trying to read some of them. Bunkers are well maintained and i had no issues hitting out of them. My main criticism would be you tee off from mats, i personally hate Mats and i dont believe they give a true golfing experience i like to tee the ball low with irons and the mats position the ball higher than i like. \\Other than that i believe given the location there is alot of potential with this course, we played on a bank holiday and apart from 3 groups at the 1st tee when we got there we were quickly spread out. other than these groups the course was quiet.\\I shot 38 on the front 9 and 43 on the back nine so ended up 81 one of my best rounds for a while \\I highly recommend this course any if anyone fancies a game here sometime email me [email protected]

Smashing little course that I was unaware of until recently. At a tenner for as many holes as you can play it was an absolute bargain ! Great for your short game and apart from the teeing areas in very good condition for the time of year.Very tight in places and open in others.Good mix of par 3 and par 4 holes.Highest recomendation is I would play there again ! (no brainer really at a tenner a round )

I like this course. Getting back into golf from illness I find this relaxed, challenging and with a stop for a cuppa half way round find I can enjoy 18 holes (9x2) and still feel great. I find this always challenging, quiet and enjoyable. Greens and fairways constantly being improved but still manage to loose a ball most visits!! The woodland setting is delightful and heard my first cuckoo of 2012 here this spring.

A very good course which is good value for money. Set amongst trees in a beautiful setting. Good for beginners. Not many golfers on the course. Basic facilities with a clubroom selling snacks and drinks. I would recommend this course.

Excellent greens and bunkers, a nice 9 hole walk. Shame about the teeing off area as they are driving range mats, although they do have a tee holder so you can use your own tees. Apart from the tee a varying hole length allows use of a variety of clubs. Trees add to the excitement lining each hole. The clubhouse is nothing to shout about. It's a small room with two chairs and a serving desk. Refreshments are available but expect to pay vending machine prices(70p) for most snacks. There are no toilets and it's a long road to get to the course. Not many golfers were there making it perfect for beginners, or a peaceful walk.

This course is a very good 9 hole course which is quite narrow in a small woodland area.
It is an ideal course for beginners or if you want to practice your irons in a quiet and very secluded area. Surprisingly the greens have been very good this winter I recommend it.

Eases you in!
A very small but fun course. Good gentle start to this 9 hole, and you'll need to hit your irons straight to get your tee shoes away on the last 3. You can go round for as many times as you want for the green fee. Good greens for such a low-key course.
