Golfshake Team ReviewGreat course, Great views. My local course has been closed all week so great creds to Dudley GC for all greens open and all tees. OK the greens were wet and slow but still superior to temps/long grasss. The pro was fabulous letting me play for £10 (even for an extra 9 holes on top - as I got round 18 in 2.5 hours on a quiet day.) It is not long but the wind is an added challenge and I think a 'must play' west midlands course. Just be aware of the course map as it can throw you on the 2nd and 5th tees. There are 5 par 3's but none of them easy! go play £10 in the winter for this standard is a steal!

During the months from May to August this year 2014 Dudley Golf Club did not employ a professional and relied on casual workers to man the professional shop while a new professional was appointed mid September.
Dudley Golf Club are committed to providing a first class customer service and our new Professional Jamie Cundy is proving to deliver this to a very high standard. Our commitment to this remains very strong and we deliver these values on a consistent basis. Posted on behalf of Dudley Golf Club by Golfshake.com

Golfshake Team ReviewUnbelievable views. I was bit sceptical when I read the reviews -'bice views of what? Brierly Hill, Dudley? buit it was AMAZING. Every hole had something great to look at. Totally took my mind off the worst golf I had played all year (105). On front 9 I never got to grips with the greens which were so fast. (3 putted 4 of the opening 9). Glad I decided on a light carry bag with all the hills instead of pushing up hill a heavy trolley - which was a good idea. Will defo play again. Played at 3pm and was nice and quiet after a comp, Staff very helpful. Even drew me a map of the first 5 holes so woulndt get lost. Beware 5th tee you could go of fin 3 directions, until a helpful golfer on the 17th pointed us left! Beware. Great course though I played a lousy game!

Course was recommended to us, and I'm glad it was. Greens although very quick, were in great order.
Course not the longest in the world but very challenging and interesting. Read previous reviews mentioning it was hilly, it is! One of our group carries his clubs religiously, first time I've ever heard him wish for a trolley or buggy. All in all a very nice course, will certainly be back again.

superb course,a few hills but nothing that would put you off playing every day.
greens are brilliant(best I have played in ages)and the fairways are very well kept.
members are very helpful and all seemed to be very friendly back in the clubhouse bar
all in all a lovely but challenging course which I am seriously considering joining as the fees are one of the cheapest in the midlands.

What a gem of a course. Turned up expecting nothing special to find a truly spectacular course. Extremely hilly with some very testing shots and fantastic views over the surrounding area. The greens are honestly the best I have played on for many years. All in all I would suggest you give it a go, great course, great views, fantastic greens and very friendly members. Thanks for making us feel so welcome....

Better than I thought.

Never played this course in 30 years because I have been told there are too many blind shots, never play off a flat lie and there are too many slopes off the green. I can also add that when the wind blows (20-30 mph) try and keep the ball flight straight... almost impossible, however, I loved it. What a test of golf and if you are not having a good game, the views being so high are out of this world. I finished with a score of 99 off a 19 handicap, I was told by a member was pretty good in those conditions. Can?t comment on. Club or facilities due to the coronavirus.
