Drift Golf Club, Surrey is an 18 hole, par 73 (6443 yard), parkland golf course designed by Sir Henry Cotton and architect Robert Sandow opened in 1975. Very close to the M25/A3 and Effingham railway.

Excellent course
I've played the Drift many times and have never been disappointed. Although the weather was iffy and some construction works going on around the first tee, it was another thoroughly enjoyable outing.The course was in great shape, as always and the service around the club superb

Good tree lined course in good condition despite no rain for 4/5 weeks.some fairways showing signs of drought and looking bare and hardpacked. All greens were good as well as tees. New driving range being added at present which limits any practice areas

great day
superb condition good greens and approaches Good variety of holes with tricky par 3s not too long for us lesser drivers.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 97 Handicap: 20.4)

it a beautiful day
course in superb condition considering no rain for nearly one monthgreens were slowish but excellent condition a tribute to green keeping staff
it was still a bit of lockdown and we were second out so pace of play was fast

Poor winter conditions.
Poor winter conditions. Temp greens on fairway which were not cut or smoothed out. The Starter or Pro shop did not mention the temp greens, shows little regard for visitors.(Round played: Oct 2019 - Score: 94 Handicap: 16.6)

NIce, but......
This is an ok course. Winds it's way though some nice countryside. But, there's no wow factor at all. No signature hole that we could pick out. It's a bit samey for most of the holes.When we played it the greens were soaking wet and the fairways weren't giving any run. Despite there not having been that much rain in the days before. A bit worrying for when winter comes.
We got a good welcome in the bar and the food was very good.

Lovely course-if you can find it!
First time playing this course. Very, very impressed. Greens were fantastic and in good conditions. Layout was a little disappointing.(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 20.7)
