The course was in very good condition. The course is a very stiff challenge for high handicapped golfer
All so I was very disappointed wiith the cost the green fees are advertised as £24.00. but we were charged £18.00 per person even with a 2 fore 1 voucher .

Very busy and slow

Course was in good condition- especially the greens which were very fast despite heavy overnight rain.
We played from 13:30 on Sunday afternoon. 3 groups. Course was very busy - maybe because the sun was shining after rain most of the morning. But it was VERY slow. Waiting on every hole. I gave up after 2.5 hours for 9 holes. The rest of the guys continued but I’d had enough by then
Course is unusual in that due to undulating layout there were hardly any greens you could see from the tees

The course was generally in good condition but playing off the yellows the Tee boxes are shocking. No place to hit the ball on the level. If this is deliberate then this makes the course more difficult. Bacon roll and coffee for £7.20 was a bit pricey!

Not Sure

Fairways in poor condition to many scars and bare patches. Greens very dry and unreceptive to high balls they just bounce and run off. Not the best course I've played but for ?15 (tee off times) it was ok

We played two rounds during the weekend 11th and 12th Sep.2016. Good course for healthy seniors. (Never lost a ball). But if you need to use a buggy avoid this place. All their buggies are beaten up old petrol driven wrecks. The grabbing clutches are a whiplash risk for anyone with a dodgy back.

Quite a tight course as they have tried to fit a golf course into a small plot of land. Course is in good nick with the fairways and greens holding up well.

Not a great course with too many up and down holes. Greens have never been very good here and the bunkers are usually full of water over the winter. Its also quite expensive for the quality of the course. However there a few very nice holes including the short par 3 9th and the challenging par 5 15th. The Clubhouse is very picturesque with an oak panelled lounge and the pro shop is well stocked and friendly.

Over priced

£48 each for a 4 ball is massively over priced but it will be quite at those prices so that’s a plus

Qwerky

Played this course twice in 2 days sep 3-4 2022.
Weather had been dry of late so fairways were dry and hard.
Only 2 par 5s and 3 par 3s. A string of 7 par 4s from 2nd to 8th. 1st & 2nd good holes then we get some silly tight par 4s , lap of the gods if you get a good or bad bounce. You can easily be blocked by low branches and tricky to advance to ball back in play as the fairways are so slopey. The par 5s are good. 1st reachable in 2 as its all downhill. 15th a good par 5 you have to plot your way. 9th a good short par 3 with a very slopey green. other 2 par 3s are both with raised greens that you cant see, both very difficult. The condition of the fairways was good, greens also were good and fast. I would take about 9 or 10 holes from the 18 as good design but the rest not enjoyable. Will not be rushing back but worth a go if you live close.

Nice course but busy

Pro shop staff are exceptionally pleasant and happy to help. Course is / was very busy so pace of play was slow (saw a couple of groups walked off), also trolley's and buggies are in short supply.
Course is short but with tight fairways and subtle greens it's a good challenge. Fairways and greens in excellent condition but finding a level lie on some tee boxes was tricky. A very good option for a weekend break!
