An absolutely superb parkland course
We read the great reviews of Donnington Valley GC and were pleased to say that the course and the golfing staff did not disappoint. The course was beautiful, very scenic and in superb condition. The greens were superb, although did not find a flat putt! Really tricky pin positions which made the putting challenging but most enjoyable. The pro shop staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful but, despite being a 115 mile drive for us, we plan to return to this wonderful golf course.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course well worth a visit

An absolutely lovely course
A lovely course with some very testing holes and plenty of hills! As a group eleven we were welcomed to the club and it seemed that nothing was too much for the staff. A Good Find...
We played our latest monthly society day here and were amazed at how well the course had been kept during lockdown. Greens ran smoothly without signs of work. Fairways were super. Will visit again.Reviewer Rating

Fabulous course!
One of the best course I have played! A proper championship course with lots of variation and fantastic greens, fairways and tee boxes. The pro shop is big and well stocked and systems are all customer focused. half way house/bar is a brilliant and welcome feature.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 83 Handicap: 21)

Oh wow.
What a fabulous course! Loved it. Fantastic condition and the greens are brilliant. Very undulating, but very true if you hit it right.The view from the clubhouse is fantastic. Out over the ninth and eighteenth greens (as it should be) and across the course..
The clubhouse is proper old school and the welcome is warm here and in the pro shop.
There are no boring holes on this course, too many good holes to mention here, but there are quiet a few hilly bits. The area around the 15th green and the 16th hole is absolutely lovely.
It's also attached to a very good hotel.
We will definitely be returning.

Great Golf Course

What a pleasant friendly Golf Club. On arrival we spoke to a member who asked if this was our first visit, it was, and he told us a few things about the course and directed us to the Spikes Bar for our breakfast. Staff in the bar were again helpful and friendly. Course was in excellent condition, greens fast and fairways in great order. Green staff working on many holes tending bunkers and grass cutting.
