Jackie Wroe McMillan cancer nurses
Fastest greens in the district!!! Quite hilly and hard, a course more suited to low handicappers than high, nice clubhouse and friendly staff, the signature 14th hole is worth the money to see the view(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 102 Handicap: 22.7)

Great Course pretty hilly though!!
Course was in pretty good condition considering the rain we have had over the last few days. The greens were quick for the time of year and most of the tees were good. One or two tees were on mats but that didn't detract from the round. The view from the fourteenth tee is spectacular and deserves a mention!!(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 22.4)

Course has held up well in dry summer, Greens in excellent condition. Less than 20 on the course so could play with no pressure. Would recommend

Great golf course
Probably best golf course around here ( 25 mile radius ) . Take a buggy if you don't fancy the hilly walk , but don't miss playing this course . Great pro shop and clubhouse too(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 102 Handicap: 21)

absolute beauty
1st time we played Dewsbury todayvery very impressed. Greens and course in excellent condition
Members and fellow golfers very helpful and friendly
Also has 1 one of the best scenic holes ever!!!!!!!

Very hilly with 5 or 6 excellent and a couple of exceptional holes - every hole fair
with not a bad hole on the course. Fast greens... mostly well kept fairways
Great long-range views, lots of oak and established trees - bargain £20 after 2pm weekends
- more mon-fri so check out clubs own webpages

Lovely course but if I play it again I will be in a buggy. First 7 holes in particular feel like they're going up a mountain , after that it calms down a bit!Reviewer Rating

Fabulous course with great views
Having played a large number of courses this is certainly the best in Yorkshire. The club is very friendly with help from the staff and members for visiting parties to navigate this dr Mackenzie design. This is a true test of golf with parkland holes leading up to heathland on the top of the hill. This will provide you with stunning views and great memories. Unique challenge
Staff and members were very helpful and welcoming. We were playing 36 holes and it was tough going with a push trolley. Electric trolley or buggy definitely needed. We didn't know the course so relied on the few lines of 'pro's tip' for each hole on the website. It was a great test of golf ability, greens were excellent with some amazing views and memorable holes all the way round.Reviewer Rating
