Very tough course....lovely views but full.of golf snobs.....staff arrogant and unhelpful.
Expensive for what it is, will only play if i get a decent price from teetimes

Very tiring course 1-9 is climbing on nearly every hole. Uneven stances only fit for mountain goats. A buggy is essential if we ever come back again.

torrential rain

Great Course pretty hilly though!!
Course was in pretty good condition considering the rain we have had over the last few days. The greens were quick for the time of year and most of the tees were good. One or two tees were on mats but that didn't detract from the round. The view from the fourteenth tee is spectacular and deserves a mention!!(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 100 Handicap: 22.4)

Terrific hilly course with amazing views
You will need to be fit to climb the hills but it will be worth your while! The greens are amazing! The views are stunning. The course is challenging. Every hole is real fun and different and there are some fabulous feature holes that will amaze you!(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 101 Handicap: 17.6)

Hidden gem
Had a great day at Dewsbury, this is a great course but hilly, but a really nice course, and the views wow.a little wet today but that’s to be expected with the rain we have had, but it played well considering. Will definitely be back(Round played: Dec 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 29.4)

So we visited a couple of weeks ago and all was great until the 16th tee when a four ball (all elderly) tried to push in, they had clearly just walked up from the first tee. They decided against teeing off as there was another 2 ball behind us and 2 behind them. Instead the teed off the 17th before the bell had sounded, almost hitting the players on the fairway. This really spoilt the enjoyment of the round. The 2 members confirmed that it happens all the time but the club do nothing about. Not sure if we'll return.
