Society Day
We had a golf society day yesterday at Denton. As organiser I found Joanne in the office good to work with and all went pleasingly well. Course was in very good condition for mid April, with true greens. Course was tricky with tree lined fairways and well located water hazards, which came as a surprise to first time players (especially me). We had breakfast, lunch & roast beef dinner during our day there, food was excellent and staff friendly & helpful. For the fee charged, one of the best value society courses we’ve played for a while. Nice course
Really nice course. Well set out and maintained.Would just always check with Golf Now as Pro tried to charge me ?20 but was on Golf Now for ?12.50. When mentioned this told me to go book on there then. Not good Service.

Nice course, worth playing
First time playing Denton GC in well organised open event. Friendly welcome all round. Good practice facilities. Course was still a little wet in places following weeks of rain. Greens true but not that quick. Some tough par 4s especially 4th, 7th and 16th, do well to get up in 2. Long par 3s (2nd & 8th). Must be hitting well and straight to score on this one. Enjoyed the round though. Mostly on the flat so fairly easy to walk around.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 81 Handicap: 6.3)

Nice course close to the city centre
Had very little expectations of Denton, hadn't heard much about it before playing, but I was pleasantly surprised. A few tricky holes where you need to know where to go, but it's the perfect course to nip to after work for a quick 18! Great clubhouse too!Reviewer Rating

Lots of hidden water on the courses as my playing partner found out. The fairways are very tight with an abundance of trees to tighten any drive. Would play the course completely different second time round. Not a course to open your shoulders, as you pick your way around those trees. Because of the water and a windy day, lots of the holes were turned into lay up holes, adding an extra shot.

Best Greens in the Area !!
The course is flat and a very easy walk but is a great rest of golf , the greens are the best I've played all year and all the Staff were very helpful and Professional ! Will definitely be back and it has some amazing membership offers.Reviewer Rating

Fantastic course worth visiting

Lovely course. Some interesting holes navigating a stream that runs through the course. Some risk reward holes where you have to judge whether to take on the carry. Faiways and tees in good condition. Greens a touch bobbly in places but that's understandable as its been a cold and wet start to the year so growth conditions aren't ideal. I recommend giving it a try. The bacon butty and then the hot pot afterwards were nice.

This course is nice and flat with trees and streams scattered around the course creating hazards that need to be negotiated. During the summer a lovely course to play, during the winter not as good as it holds a lot of water and not always playable.
