Enjoyable course
Compact and challenging course. Very enjoyable to play. At time of playing the course was very firm and dry,not having had any rain for a good month or so.Found the extra bounce off the fairway very useful for extra yardage on drives!Reviewer Rating

Worth a look
I played here August 2017. Got a deal for £18. Usual price was £30. Not worth £30 I can tell you. but £18 was a fair price. Quite a tough course with a few fairways with big trees in the middle of them which means you have to be confident with your ball striking to get over them. The fairways were ok, but the rough was quite long to if your ball went in their it took a while to find. Some would say that;s what rough is for, but it slows down the pace of play. The greens were patchy in places and one in particular should be dug up and re done. 12th? Can't quite remember. There should be some indication on the tees which way to go as there are a lot of dog legs right and left and it's not clear where the holes are. Some tees are very close to greens and we nearly got hit on one from players playing from the16th tee, a blind shot from the top of a hill. Jesus H just shout anyway so at least players know. we kept wondering where the ball were coming from. Course seemed very dry, good drainage? Overall an interesting place to play and as I say worth a look at £18. PS. The Pro shop was shut when I got back at 3.45pm so I didn't know where to leave the hired electric trolley so left it in the men's lockers room. Very poor! Oh and putting green was very poor.Reviewer Rating
