First game on this course. Challenging but enjoyable, very busy with other players and only managed to lose 1 ball!

A very well presented golf course. Very good fairways. First cut of rough a little harsh. Could do with a bit more sand in bunkers. Greens are kept a touch longer than other courses in the area due to volume of traffic, but ran very well. The work that the new team are doing is evident. The course is getting back to being a very enjoyable play.

A reasonable course, in reasonable condition despite it being wet beforehand. a few temporary tees but overall good. Clubhouse OK, reasonably priced.

excellent value for money, greens, fairways and tee's in good condition considering the time of the year. lots of work been done to improve the overall course condition. willbe back for more.

Great value for money with efficient and friendly staff. I like the drivingrange, putting and chipping areas. And great to take the youngster out on the 3 different short courses. The course can be rather wet during rainy periods in winter. Golf shop and great golfpros. Maybe not the greatest and cosiest of buildings.

I hadn't played delapre for a number of years until i had 9 holes around the Hardingstone 9 about 2 weeks ago, very disappointing, the greens were poor, bunkers full of grass and the tee boxes were a joke like playing out the rough...but i give it another go today on the main course, and its not much better, greens with hack marks and full of tree debris, bunkers full of grass. Its a shame but you can tell its a cash cow for someone not a very well looked after course....the driving range is a rip off, its sad to think that kids who want to play have to pay silly prices just to hit a few balls on the range, (I'm sorry but £3 for 40 balls is bloody poor) Its over priced at £14 for 18 holes. There is far better value around the county!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DONT BOTHER

Getting better every week. Improving course.
Greens take some getting used too, as there rolls not always true or what you'd expect (Not just my bad putting!).
Good course for the beginner or improving player.

We play in the evenings on the way home from work, but unfortunately turned up yesterday and the course was not in good Nick. There were 3/4 winter greens that were appalling, every tee was off winter tees, and the real greens that were available were atrocious. Holes in them, water laying under them and people not repairing pitch marks. Was not impressed at all, I know we have had bad weather, but the course should be closed to give it a chance to recover. Also wasn't told about the poor conditions by reception staff. Not good.Reviewer Rating
