I always enjoy playing here. There are lots of holes where water comes into play and course management is vital. The fairways, greens and clubhouse are excellent.

Stayed for a one night, 2 rounds break - shame about my golf !

Arranged to play this course twice over two days and I have to say it was impeccbale. The course itself was in perfect condition. True roll on every green and all fairways immaculate. One tee box was in a terrible state but it's only a temp on as they are grooming the new one, which is fair enough. Very challenging off the tee as tight faiways await. Nice long par 5's and well layed out 4's. The par e's range from a down hill 122 yards to a monster 185 yards up hill all the way - it may as well be 285 yards!!!
As for the clubhouse and staff - 100% excellent. well stocked pro shop and the most helpful staff you could ever wish to have. The starter gave our group a 15 minute run down of the risks and rewards of the course which really helped.....if you could remember everything he said!!
I will recommend this course to everyone and anyone! The hotel had the same level of professionalism and conduct. If you get the chance, go to Dunston Hall, play golf on their fabulous course and stay in their wonderful hotel. You wont be disappointed.

I have been looking to join a new golf club and I have tried several including Barnham Broom (well worth a visit) and Dunston Hall. I found the course and staff at Dunston Hall to be fantastic, the course is fairly short with plenty of holes around 300 yards and several that dogleg between 140 to 180 yards which I liked making it a little different to many other courses. I have read a couple of negative reviews but I have no complaints only that the bunkers could have a little more sand. Loved it and joined.

This was my first round on the Gtour and was a great day, the course was very challenging and with a few more lessons I would like to play this one again.

Despite the Fairways suffering as most courses are with the weather. The greens are in terrific condition.
The rough has been well maintained and the ground staff have done an excellent job.
Facilities are excellent. Driving range, pitching green and putting green ( oh and the Bunkers Bar ) . Are all close to the well equipped pro shop.
